About the Author

Rivky Koenig is passionate about three things: family life, crafting, and preserving Jewish traditions. An accomplished teacher for more than a decade, Koenig gained recognition for her imaginative hands-on approach to pedagogy, reinforcing subject matter through artistic and creative tasks.

Rivky has served as director of crafting workshops at Camp Hedvah, a popular summer camp in the Catskill Mountains. She lives in upstate New York with her husband and five children.

"In a digital age, it's easy to lose touch with the sense of accomplishment and the positive self-esteem that come from making something with your own hands. As an educator and crafting instructor, I've seen the delight on my students' faces when they say, "Look what I made!" Crafting Jewish is a fabulous resource for your home - bringing families and friends together to create memorable treasures and treasured memories."
