What were its members doing while much of the rest of Europe was under Nazi occupation?

How did they cope with the horrors of the Holocaust before and during the occupation of Hungary?

This preliminary study answers these and other questions from a new perspective, based on heretofore unpublished documents as well as survivors' testimonies, and offers new insights into the activities and fortitude of these Jews.
