Died: Tunis, Tunisia, 1839 

Rabbi of Tunis, a man of miracles and wonders, Kabbalist.

Rabbi Yeshua was constantly on guard protecting the Jews of Tunisia from being persecuted by the Moslem people. One of his friends was the king of  Tunisia, King Albay, who always enjoyed chatting with Rabbi Yeshua, basking in his wisdom.
